About Dr. Jolley

Tyler H. Jolley, D.M.D. is a certified orthodontist and periodontist who resides in Grand Junction, Colorado with his wife, Jeena, and three sons Kaden, Tanner, and Carson.  Jolley Smiles, his private practice, opened in July 2006 with offices in Grand Junction and Fruita, Colorado.  He also treats patients in his father’s dental office in Vernal, Utah.  Tyler graduated from Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 2002.  He then completed a four year orthodontic/periodontic residency at the University of Pennsylvania in June 2006. 

Dr. Jolley enjoys lecturing across the country on temporary orthodontic implants.  He also lectured in Peru and Equador in January 2007.   He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Academy of Periodontology, American Association of Orthodontists Foundation, and the American Dental Association, and he is a Diplomate of the American Boards of Orthodontics.

Dr. Jolley grew up in Vernal, Utah changing water pipe and helping with the sheep and chickens on his father’s farm.  He also played football and tennis at Uintah High School.  He then attended Utah State University where he played on the Lacrosse team.  He enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, skateboarding, hiking, rafting, and fly fishing.  He is also an avid Star Wars fan and collector.  Writing is his secret passion and he has written a young adult science fiction novel he hopes to get published soon.  Playing video games and sports with his sons is how he spends much of his free time.  He loves hanging out with his family and friends.
